Hiroshi's Bestiary (Ruby City)

- NAME: Giant Spider
- TYPE: Arachnoid
- APPEARANCE: Subdued colors, suitable for camouflage. Can apparently "look like small hills" to unobservant.
- Apparently poisonous. A relatively simple poison that can be cured with an all-purpose antivenom of some form.
- Produces webs, but apparently does not utilize them as a method of catching food, but rather as a form of storage.
- Said to be "predatory" when provoked. Observation of said behaviors would be appreciated, but may be too dangerous without proper equipment.
- Also: specific mention of provoking. Different behavior when relaxed?
DANGER RATING: High.

- NAME: Tsuchinoko
- TYPE: Serpent
- APPEARANCE: About equal in width and length. Otherwise snakelike.
- Easily startled. It doesn't seem to like attention.
- A rather famous Japanese cryptid. I wonder what it's doing here?
DANGER RATING: Unknown; presumably high based on mythological accounts of venom.

- NAME: Underwater Serpent (Unidentified)
- TYPE: Serpent.
- APPEARANCE: Extreme size, perhaps the size of a building. Serpent-like.
- Documented by one of the residents. (Should get name.)
- Appears to reside somewhere under the city in a lake. Not exactly reassuring to know this.
- Seems to be able to cause ground-shaking.
DANGER RATING: Extreme.

- NAME: Bird Creature (Unidentified)
- TYPE: Bird.
- APPEARANCE: [To be added]
- Reported by Sirius Black.
- Appears to reside somewhere near the edge of the known "island." Aggressive. Possesses sharp claws which can rip through leather.
DANGER RATING: High.

- NAME: Warg
- TYPE: Lupine
- APPEARANCE: A wolf of abnormal size, approximately equivalent to a small horse according to Dirk Strider
- Apparently daring enough to get near the walls sometimes.
DANGER RATING: High.

- NAME: Will O' Wisp
- TYPE: Spectral
- APPEARANCE: Floating spots of light; look like lanterns from a distance.
- Appear near dusk in the forest.
- Reported to move deliberately and with signs of intelligence; may rule out the swamp gas theory.
DANGER RATING: Low.

- NAME: Zombie
- TYPE: Humanoid (Deceased?)
- Reported by Stiles Stilinski. Precise nature of "zombie" uncertain, whether actually reanimated necrotic material or some sort of mental debilitation.
- Vulnerable to flame. Unknown if flame is immediately incapacitating; would be best observed more than once before utilizing in case "undead" creature can move and potentially cause more damage while alight.
- Stilinski claims to know more, but refuses to divulge for reasons known only to himself. Very frustrating.
DANGER RATING: Medium. Certainly hostile, but apparently easily subdued.

- NAME: Zombie Wolf
- TYPE: Lupine (Deceased?)
- Reported by Viola. Related to zombie humans, perhaps?
- May also be vulnerable to flame.
DANGER RATING: Unknown, presumable medium to high.

- NAME: "Spirit" creature (unknown)
- TYPE: Spiritual; unknown scientific explanation currently.
- APPEARANCE: Variable; appeared as angry woman to me.
- Targets individuals with "guilty" thoughts.
- Appears primarily at night, but echoes through the day mentally.
- Can apparently be "exorcised" through "divine" power. Must study more to understand precise scientific principles, or if new ones need to be developed.
DANGER RATING: High.
